A MAN was caught driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Alexander Heron, 25, admitted driving a Citroen Saxo in Mays Lane, Fareham, after drinking too much.

A test revealed his breath contained 82 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres - more than twice the legal limit of 35mg.

Heron, of Tewkesbury Avenue, Gosport, was fined £110 and told to pay £50 in court costs and £15 to a fund for victims of crime.

He was banned from driving for 20 months.
