MOTORIST William Bennett was caught driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

He pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan in Brook Lane, Sarisbury Green, after drinking too much on February 4.

A test revealed his breath contained 85 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Bennett, 23, of Dibles Road, Warsash, was banned from driving for three years.

Fareham magistrates also fined him £300 and told him to pay £85 costs.

He must also contribute £15 to a fund for crime victims.
