A DRIVER who lost control of the car she was driving and crashed into supermarket has been fined.

Adene Lynch was driving a Peugeot that crashed into Asda in Somers Road North, Portsmouth.

The 26-year-old, from Ferry Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to driving the car without due care and attention.

She was fined £300 at a hearing at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

Lynch was also ordered to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs.

Six penalty points were added to her driving licence.

Lynch also pleaded guilty to driving the car without a valid licence or any insurance.

However magistrates imposed no separate penalty for that offence.
