A MAN was caught driving while almost twice the legal alcohol limit.

Anthony Coleman admitted driving a car in London Road, Waterlooville, after drinking too much on March 17.

A test revealed his blood contained 154 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes.

The 47-year-old, of Kipling Place, Stanmore, Middlesex, was fined £400 and told to pay £15 to crime victims and £85 costs by Portsmouth magistrates. He was also banned from driving for 20 months.
