A DRIVER was banned for 20 months and fined £525.

Conor Regan, 27, of Portland Drive, Gosport, admitted drink-driving on March 13 in Western Way, Gosport.

Fareham magistrates heard a test showed Regan had 175 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, more than double the 80mg legal limit.

Regan must pay a £52 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
