MOTORIST Sian Tasker was caught driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

The 22-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a black Renault Megane in Festing Road, Southsea, after drinking too much on April 8.

A test revealed her blood contained 161 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80ml.

Tasker, of Devonshire Avenue, Southsea, was fined £100 by Portsmouth magistrates.

She was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and £15 into a fund for victims of crime.

Magistrates banned her from driving for 20 months.

Tasker’s ban could be reduced by five months on the condition that she pays £150 to complete a government-approved driving course by July 10 next year.
