MOTORIST Graham Mills was caught driving while double the legal alcohol limit.

Mills, 55, of Dudley Road, Portsmouth, admitted driving the car in the same street after drinking too much.

A test revealed his breath contained 78 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Mills was fined £250 and banned from driving for 16 months by Portsmouth magistrates.

He was told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs.
