MEMBERS of The English Defence League will march through Portsmouth on Saturday in tribute to Drummer Lee Rigby.

The extremist group will meet at The Connaught Arms, in Fratton, Portsmouth, at 11am.

They will then go to Guildhall Square War Memorial to lay flowers in memory of the soldier, who was killed in Woolwich, south-east London on May 22.

A number of events are being held for Drummer Rigby. A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: ‘We are engaging with the organisers of these proposed events and will plan to police appropriately to ensure the event is facilitated and the interests of all members of the local community are safeguarded.’
