ELECTRICAL goods worth hundreds of pounds were stolen in a burglary.

Thieves fled a home in Castle Grove, Portchester, with a 32in TV, two Nokia 6300 mobile phones, a digital photo frame, a Tom Tom sat nav and a blue Dell laptop.

They also stole beer and wine in the break-in, which happened overnight on February 22.

Investigating officer PC Tara Magnus said: ‘This burglary occurred overnight. Did you see anyone hanging around or acting suspiciously in the area?

‘Have you been offered any of the stolen items or have you heard about the burglary and can add any information?

‘Please make sure you check the security of your property when you leave it unattended or go to bed. Make sure all doors and windows are locked and do not leave the keys in the locks. Secure and lock the garden gate to prevent anyone accessing your garden.

‘Do not leave items of value in sight and make a note of serial numbers to assist police in returning stolen property.’
