MOTORIST Gareth Marlow has been fined and banned for drink-driving.

Marlow, 30, of Sunningdale Road, Fareham, drove a Vauxhall Corsa in Mile End Road, Portsmouth, after drinking too much.

A test revealed his blood contained 117 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80mg.

Marlow was banned from driving for a year and fined £335 with £40 in court costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
