A DRINK-DRIVER was caught while three times the legal alcohol limit.

Nicholas Brettelle, 52, who lives care of Pegham Copse, Fareham, pleaded guilty to committing the offence whilst driving a BMW in Bardon Way, Fareham, on November 9.

A test revealed his breath contained 110 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – three times the 35mg legal limit. Brettelle was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. He was banned from driving for two years and told to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs by Fareham magistrates.
