A FRAUDSTER who withdrew hundreds of pounds from a man’s bank account after stealing his debit card has been spared jail.

Thomas Janman, 28, of New Road, Fareham, admitted stealing the card from Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

He admitted two counts of fraud by using the card to withdraw £200 from a hospital cash machine and £300 from a cashpoint at Asda, Speedfields Park, Fareham.

Janman was sentenced to 120 days in jail suspended for a year.

Portsmouth magistrates told him to do 200 hours of unpaid work and pay £385.
