MAGISTRATES have fined a man for possessing cocaine and cannabis.

William Gonella pleaded guilty to possessing 10.2 grams of class A drug in Fareham on January 14.

The 26-year-old, from Anjou Crescent, Fareham, also admitted possessing the class B drug cannabis in Fareham on the same day. He was ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work in the next year by Fareham magistrates.

An order was made for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
