MAGISTRATES have fined a man for possessing cannabis.

Richard Brooks admitted to having the class B drug on him in Fareham on August 20.

The 44-year-old, of Redlands Lane, Fareham, also admitted committing the crime while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge for another offence of cannabis possession.

He was told to pay £150 in a fine and costs by Fareham magistrates. The drugs will be destroyed.
