A MOTORIST who reversed his car into a member of the public has been fined.

Martin Hounsell, 61, drove his Volvo into a person in a car park at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. It is not known whether the person was hurt.

He pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

Hounsell, from Wedgewood Close, Fareham, was told to pay £290 in a fine and costs.

Three points were added to his driving licence.
