A MOTORIST who drove while disqualified has been jailed.

Michael Laverty, 45, of Dore Avenue, Fareham, admitted committing the crime by driving a Renault Kangoo in Portchester Road, Portchester.

He was jailed for eight weeks by Fareham magistrates.

Six points were added to his driving licence.
