Fareham motorist, 20, was over the drink-drive limit

Nearly 2,700 cases of non-recent child abuse have been recorded by police in Hampshire. The NSPCC's chief executive said it is a sign that more people are confident in reporting the crimes perpetrated against them.

DRINK-DRIVER Robert Bogard has been banned from the roads.

Bogard, 20, of Buriton Close, Fareham, admitted driving a vehicle in West Street, Portchester, after drinking too much on April 1.

A test revealed his breath contained 67 microgrammes of alcohol. The legal limit is 35mg.

Bogard was told to pay £320 and banned from driving for 18 months by Portsmouth magistrates.
