DRINK-driver Graham Hickmott has been banned from the roads.

Hickmott, from Chiltern Walk, Fareham, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford C Max on South Street, Gosport, after drinking too much on November 19.

A test revealed his breath contained 59 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg. Fareham magistrates fined the 39-year-old £35 and told him to pay £50 costs and £15 to a fund for victims of crime.

Hickmott was also banned from driving for a year.

But the ban could be reduced by three months if he pays to complete a government-approved driving course.
