A MAN has been fined after he was caught driving without any valid insurance.

Sam Scott, 20, was stopped by police in Forton Road in Gosport on October 16 last year.

Scott, from Mabey Close in Gosport, pleaded guilty to the offence.

He was fined £275 plus £35 costs and a £15 victim surcharge at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

He was also given six penalty points on his driving licence.
