MAGISTRATES have fined a man who was caught stealing food and alcohol from Iceland.

Richard Yeomanson took goods worth £7 from the store in Edinburgh Road, Portsmouth.

Yeomanson, 46, of New Road, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

Yeomanson also admitted breaching a conditional discharge he received from the court in November for a drunken offence.

Magistrates fined him £25 with £100 in costs.
