POLICE were called to a pub after a fracas broke out between rival football fans.

Scores of Pompey and Yeovil fans were at the Shepherd’s Crook pub, in Goldsmith Avenue, on Saturday afternoon ahead of the clash at nearby Fratton Park.

A fight broke out between a small group of people and police were called.

It was over by the time officers arrive, at 2.10pm, and no arrests were made.
