FOUR people have been arrested after police raided three houses and found amphetamine and cocaine.

Three drug warrants were issued by police, who carried out simultaneous raids on residential properties on Shore Lane, Battery Hill and Malt Lane, Bishop’s Waltham, yesterday morning.

Police said they were acting on tip-offs from the community. A 62-year-old man and three women aged 32, 58 and 66, all from Bishop’s Waltham, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. They have been bailed until February 12.

Insp Jon Turton said: ‘This action sends out a clear message that the supply of illegal drugs will not be tolerated in our towns and villages.

‘We take all complaints very seriously.’
