DRIVER Michelle McMillan was almost three times the legal limit when she was stopped by police.

The 51-year-old admitted driving a Ford Fiesta in Leafy Lane, Whiteley, after drinking too much alcohol.

A test revealed her breath contained 94 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – almost three times the legal limit of 35mg.

McMillan, of Cobham Grove, Whiteley, was banned from driving for four years by Fareham magistrates, and told to pay £85 costs and take part in a drink-impaired drivers’ programme for 17 days.
