A GROUP of friends were threatened with a crow bar after being pursued from a McDonald’s car park.

The friends, aged between 19 and 21, went to McDonald’s in Winchester Road, Petersfield, in a green Peugeot 106.

While they were there they noticed they were being watched by several other people in the car park.

The group decided to leave.

As they left the people who had been watching them got into their cars and followed them.

The victims drove into Bedford Road and were followed by two silver-coloured vehicles, one of which was a Vauxhall Corsa.

The victims were then boxed in by these vehicles.

The driver of the Corsa got out of the car, holding what appeared to have been a crow bar.

He then made threats to the victims and caused damage to the bonnet of their car before leaving, heading towards Petersfield.

Police are appealing for information following the incident, which happened on Sunday between 10pm and 11pm.

The man holding the crow bar was described as white, aged in his late 20s, of stocky build, about 6ft tall, with heavy stubble on his face, short hair and wearing a plain baseball cap and a plain white top. A second suspect was described as in his late teens or early 20s, with gelled hair, and was smoking a cigarette. The Corsa’s plates ended in FYN. Call 101.
