BEER thief Declan Best has been ordered to get help for his drug problem.

Best, of Rambler Drive, Gosport, had denied stealing beer from a Co-op in Gosport.

But he was found guilty of one count of theft at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

Best was ordered to have six months of treatment for drug dependency as a non-resident patient.

Best was told to pay £100 in court costs.

The 18-year-old must also pay £15 to a fund for victims of crime.
