A MOTORIST admitted driving while three times the legal alcohol limit.

Thomas Russell, 25, of Albemarle Avenue, Gosport, committed the offence in Rowner Road, Gosport, on August 30.

His breath contained 111 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres - three times the limit.

He was banned from driving for two years and fined £500 by Fareham magistrates.

Russell was told to pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
