A DRINK-DRIVER caught while almost three times the legal alcohol limit has been ordered to do unpaid work.

Glen Scott pleaded guilty to commiting the offence in Beauchamp Avenue, Gosport.

A test revealed the 49-year-old’s breath contained 95 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Scott, from Gorran Avenue, Gosport, was told to do 120 hours of unpaid work in the next year by Fareham magistrates.

He was also banned form driving for two years and four months. The ban could be reduced by seven months if he pays to complete a government-approved course.
