MOTORIST Eileen Stewart was caught behind the wheel while almost three times the drink-drive limit.

Stewart pleaded guilty to driving a Kia Picanto in North Cross Street, Gosport, while over the limit on December 20.

A test revealed the 63-year-old’s breath contained 99 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – almost three times the legal limit of 35mg.

Stewart, from Hamlet Way, Gosport, was fined £400 by Fareham magistrates.

She was ordered to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs

Stewart was banned from getting behind the wheel for two years.
