MOTORIST Charmaine Knell was caught driving while more than three times the legal alcohol limit.

Knell, from Wilmott Close, Gosport, pleaded guilty to committing the offence while driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Privett Road, Gosport.

A test revealed her breath contained 129 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg per 100ml of breath.

Knell was told to do 160 hours of unpaid work in the next year and pay £85 in court costs by Fareham magistrates.

The 54-year-old was banned from driving for two-and-a-half years.
