MAGISTRATES have fined a man for causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage to a car.

Ai Chen, of Amelia Gardens, Gosport, caused £450 of damage to a Kia in the town.

The 34-year-old was ordered to pay £450 compensation and £55 in court costs by Fareham magistrates.

Chen pleaded guilty to a charge of using threatening words or behaviour towards the owner of the car.

However no separate penalty was imposed.
