A MAN caught in possession of amphetamines has been given a conditional discharge.

Clive Toone, from Hamble Road, Gosport, pleaded guilty to having the class B drug on him in Gosport on March 11.

The 36-year-old was given a 12-month conditional discharge by Fareham magistrates.

He was told to pay £40 in court costs.

An order was made for the drug to be forfeited and destroyed.
