A MAN who assaulted three men including a police officer has been told to do unpaid work.

Adam Bertinasco punched one victim, bit another and spat at the policeman – all during the same incident in Fareham.

The 31-year-old, from Tukes Avenue, Gosport, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating and one of assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

Bertinasco was given a community order stating that he must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

The work is to be completed under supervision of an officer.

Bertinasco was also ordered to pay £120 in compensation – £40 to each of his victims.
