A TEENAGER has admitted possessing cannabis.

Lewis Redford, from Avenue Road, Gosport, pleaded guilty to having 14 bags of the class B drug on him in Ham Lane, Gosport, on March 4.

The 19-year-old was given a community order by Fareham magistrates. He will have to spend 30 hours at an attendance centre over the next six months, addressing his behaviour.

Redford was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs. Magistrates made an order that the drugs be forfeited and destroyed.
