A MAN who was caught carrying cocaine at Gunwharf Quays has been fined.

Tyrone Thorne, of Parklands Close, Gosport, pleaded guilty to possession of a class A drug when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The court heard the 21-year-old was the subject of a conditional discharge at the time, made for a previous offence of possessing cannabis.

Thorne was fined £135 and told to pay £65 in costs.
