MAGISTRATES have fined a man for driving without due care and attention.

Hugo Adkins, 27, of Station Road, Gosport, had denied committing the offence while driving a Vauxhall Vivaro van in Gregson Avenue, Gosport, on July 7.

But he was found guilty by Fareham magistrates.

Adkins admitted a charge of driving the vehicle without insurance.

He was fined £350 and told to pay £150 costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims.

Six points were added to his driving licence.
