MEAT thief Benjamin Pennicott has been ordered to stay in at night.

The 30-year-old, of Newbroke Road, Gosport, admitted stealing meat from the Co-op in Anstice Court, Lee-on-the-Solent, on January 29 while subject to a conditional discharge.

He was ordered not to leave his home between 6pm and 6am for 10 weeks and told to pay £85 court costs by Fareham magistrates.
