A MOTORIST who failed to take a breath test when stopped by police has been banned from the roads.

Nelson Tingley, 37, of Tudor Close, Gosport, pleaded guilty to committing the offence in Fareham.

He was told not leave his home between 7pm and 7am for four months.

The curfew is to be monitored with an electronic tag.

Tingley was told to pay £45 costs and banned from driving for two years.

The ban could be reduced by six months if he pays to complete a government-approved driving course.
