A MAN caught driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the roads.

Mark Hartley, 39, admitted driving a Vauxhall Vectra in St Nicholas’ Avenue, Gosport, after drinking too much on March 3.

A test revealed his breath contained 80 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.The legal limit it 35mg.

Hartley, from Homer Close, Gosport, was banned from driving for 20 months.

He was fined £650 and told to pay £85 in court costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims by Fareham magistrates.
