GOSPORT police station will no longer have a lost property office.

The office at the station in South Street will be moved to Fareham police station from Wednesday.

It is currently manned by one member of staff who will now work in Fareham.

Any property currently in the office will also be moved to the town.

Residents of Gosport can pick up lost property in Fareham, Monday to Friday, between 9am to midday and 1pm to 3.30pm. Alternatively, residents can call the station on 101 to get property delivered to Gosport police station.
