Knife-wielding man threatens staff in Portsmouth supermarket

SHOPLIFTER Nathan Archer has been fined and told to pay compensation.

Archer, 29, of Bury Road, Gosport, stole meat from Aldi in Fareham and lager from McColl’s in Fareham.

He pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

Archer was told to pay £100 in a fine and costs and £8.50 compensation to McColl’s. The court did not award compensation to Aldi as the goods were recovered.
