A TEENAGER who was caught growing seven cannabis plants has been given a community order.

Jordan Wilson pleaded guilty to producing cannabis when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

Wilson, of Howe Road, Gosport, also admitted failing to attend court in August when he was due to be sentenced.

The magistrates ordered the 18-year-old to have 15 hours’ worth of sessions at an attendance centre to address his offending.

They also ordered that the cannabis plants should be destroyed.
