A WOMAN has admitted stealing more than £33,000 from a company.

Claire Lucas, 43, of Hanbridge Crescent, Gosport, took £33,187 from Advanced Resource Managers Ltd, based at Langstone Technology Park in Havant.

Lucas pleaded guilty to the charge of theft when she appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

She took the money between March 2011 and May 2012.

The magistrates ruled the offence was so serious she should be sentenced at the crown court.

Lucas was released on bail to be sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court in November.
