A WOMAN who denied drink-driving has been found guilty after a trial.

Susan Mowat was stopped by the police as she drove an Isizu car in Privett Road, Gosport.

A breathalyser test revealed the 41-year-old had 49 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit in breath is 35 microgrammes.

Mowat, of Balfour Clsoe, Gosport, was arrested and charged but she denied the offence.

She pleaded not guilty to drink-driving but was convicted after a trial at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrates fined her £150 and told her to pay £640 to cover the costs of the trial.

Mowat was banned from driving for a year.
