YOUNG offenders in Fareham have been helping to clear up graffiti.

Fareham’s Community Safety Partnership co-ordinated a clean-up operation.

The young offenders, with the permission of their parents, cleared up the graffiti they created on public property throughout the borough.

Councillor Trevor Cartwright said: ‘It’s good to see parents and young offenders co-operating with Fareham’s Community Safety Partnership to ensure the borough is kept as clear as possible of graffiti and that young people learn how their actions affect the community.’
