THE mother of a teenage girl killed after being hit by a car near her home has read tributes to her daughter.

Rosemary Allsop, 37, of Ann’s Hill Road, in Gosport, last night stopped outside her home to read the many floral tributes left to her 14-year-old daughter Jasmine.

As reported, Jasmine and best friend Olivia Lewry, 16, both of Gosport, were hit by a green Honda Civic on Sunday at around 4am.

Jasmine died at the scene and Olivia died later in hospital.

Friends left flowers, messages and photographs of the pair at the scene of the incident yesterday.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and is continuing to being questioned by detectives.
