Police are to continue questioning a 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder this morning after two teenage girls were killed following a collision on Sunday.

As previously reported, Jasmine Allsop, 14, and Olivia Lewry, 16, both from Gosport, died after a green Honda Civic collided with them near the junction between Ann’s Hill Road and Brougham Street, in Gosport at about 4:15am that morning.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Major Investigation Team at Fratton Police Station on 101, quoting Operation Barb.
