Hampshire Police have named two brothers they want to trace after an acid attack on a woman.
Detectives are issuing an appeal to trace the men after the horrifying assault in Guildhall Square, Southampton, at about 9pm on Friday, September 18.
Officers say they need to trace brothers 22-year-old Billy Nathan Midmore (left) and 26-year-old Geoffrey Christopher Midmore, both from London.
They were named by detectives investigating the attack on the 37-year-old woman, who is in hospital with what police describe as life-changing acid burn injuries to her face.
Billy is described as: white, 5ft 8ins, he has blue eyes and a scar on his left arm. He speaks with a London accent and is of stocky build.
Geoffrey is described as: white, 5ft 1ins, he has green eyes and a scar on the right side of his face. He is of stocky build and has a tattoo on his hand.
Acting Detective Inspector Will Whale, said: “We want to speak to these men in connection with the acid assault in Southampton on Friday evening. They could be in a number of places as they are known to have contacts in Southampton, Basingstoke, London and the South East.
“I would appeal to Billy and Geoffrey to give themselves up now. We will carry on with our manhunt until we find you, so make it easier on yourselves and come forward.
“We consider them to be dangerous individuals and clearly a potential risk to members of the public. If you see them, or know where they are, please contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101 quoting Operation Interstate.”
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Billy Nathan Midmore or Geoffrey Midmore or has any information which could assist officers to locate them should call Hampshire Constabulary immediately on 101 quoting Operation Interstate.
