DRINK-DRIVER Matthew Doney was caught while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Doney, 30, of Little Hacketts, Havant, admitted driving a Peugeot 306 in Bramdean Drive, Havant, after drinking too much on August 23.

A test revealed his breath contained 78 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Doney was fined £300 and told to pay £15 to crime victims and £85 costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

He was banned from driving for 20 months.
