A MOTORIST has been fined for a string of driving offences.

Gary Cameron, 35, of Stockbridge Close, Havant, admitted driving a Mazda pick-up van in Lime Grove, Paulsgrove, without a valid licence or insurance and while using a mobile phone.

He was told to pay £500 in a fine and costs by Portsmouth magistrates. Eight points were added to his licence. He also admitted obstructing PC John Davies in the execution of his duty but no separate penalty was imposed.
