A MOTORIST caught driving while almost four times the legal alcohol limit has been told to stay in at night.

Rebecca Fletcher, 29, admitted driving a Peugeot 207 in Hulbert Road, Waterlooville, after drinking too much.

A test revealed her breath contained 131 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.

Fletcher, of Wendover Road, Havant, admitted failing to answer bail.

She was given a curfew ordering her not to leave home between 9pm and 7am for a month.

Fletcher was put under supervision for a year. She was told to pay £125 in a fine and costs.

Portsmouth magistrates banned her from driving for two-and-a-half years.
